
Carrie-Anne Moss was born August 21, 1967 [1] and is a Canadian actress. She gained fame due to her role in the film Trinity in The Matrix (1999-present) after performing a number of parts on television. Memento (2000) was her first big role. She was awarded the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Supporting Character, Red Planet (2000). Chocolat (2000), Fido (2006), Snow Cake (2006). Snow Cake (2006) brought her the Genie Award, Best Performance by an Actress, Disturbia (2007). Unthinkable (2010). Silent Hill: Revelation (2012). Pompeii (2014). Jessica Jones (2015), 2015-2019) and Unthinkable (2010) were some of her TV roles. Moss was living in Spain at the time, was offered the role of Tara Marshall, the clerk to Judge Nicholas Marshall, in Dark Justice. It was her first appearance on television. In the course of the show, she relocated from Barcelona to Los Angeles in 1992. Moss left Dark Justice before the series' third and final season and was replaced by Elisa Heinsohn, who played Samantha "Sam" Collins. After her return, she enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Pasadena. At the academy she worked as an actress, and later, she appeared in the Fox soap opera Models Inc. In July 1995, the show was ended. She was the star of a short-lived, made-in Canada show titled Matrix. She was a regular guest actor in television series which included Street Justice, Baywatch and F/X: The Series. 3 She was awarded a Gemini Award nomination for Best Guest Actress in Drama. Her film roles included many B movies including Flashfire (1994), The Soft Kill (94), Tough Guy (94), Lethal Tender (1996), Sabotage (191996) and The Secret Life of Algernon (1997).
