Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress well known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then, in 1956 she had her breakthrough on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The same year, She made her debut album of music It's the Time for Tina. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre a 1957 drama film. This film became an enormous success and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. The next notable role she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up for in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully juggle between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character opposed her perceived image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary, although she was a successful television director with various series like Supernatural & The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for childhood and adolescence. After being chosen for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there from then on.
